SUMMARY: The Park and Recreation Department of the City of Jasper, Indiana will receive bids for the construction of an OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOL as set forth in the specifications in the bid documents. The work to be performed and the bid to be submitted shall include sufficient and proper sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and so forth incidental to and required for the construction of the facilities.

SUBMISSION: Bids must be submitted no later than 4:30 p.m. EST on January 9, 2024. All bids that are mailed shall be addressed to:

Bids may be hand delivered to the Clerk Treasurer’s Office at Jasper City Hall, 610 Main Street, Jasper IN 47546, until 4:30 p.m., January 9, 2024. Bids will be publicly opened the same day, at 4:30 PM EST, at the meeting of the Park and Recreation Board, in the Council Chambers at 610 Main Street, Jasper IN.

A pre-bid meeting will be held at 1:00 P.M. (Local Time/EST) on November 30, 2023, at the project site (existing bath house) 1409 Bartley Street, Jasper IN. All prime contractors and other interested parties are requested to attend. All bidder questions shall be submitted to John Bolton, at jbolton@haferdesign.com. Questions will be answered via Addenda only.

One (1) set of bidding documents consists of one (1) Project Manual and one (1) Complete Set of Drawings.

Bidders may purchase up to two printed sets of bidding documents by paying a refundable deposit of $100.00 per set ordered. Deposit checks shall be made payable to “City of Jasper.”

Amount of the deposit for up to three sets of bidding documents may be refunded in full when the Plans and Specifications have been returned to MACO – Evansville Blue within ten (10) days after time set for receiving bids and in good re-usable condition. If the Plans and Specifications are returned after this ten (10) day period or in unusable condition, the deposit will be forfeited.
